Eco-friendly Agriculture and Fishery Industry Promotion Center

The Center promotes the concept of environmental protection to agriculture, forestry, fishery, animal husbandry, tourism and other biological industries. Additionally, it advocates eco-friendly green production and consumption models to facilitate progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Center participates in government eco-friendly agricultural policies, reviews and identifies eco-friendly farming sites, and assists farms in transitioning toward organic and sustainable practices, ultimately fostering sustainable eco-villages throughout Taitung County.
One example is the Shuimuding Creek Agricultural Cooperative, which integrates tribal culture, natural landscapes, organic farming, and eco-tourism to create a sustainable community development model.
