  • The Center promotes the concept of environmental protection to agriculture, forestry, fishery, animal husbandry, tourism and other biological industries. Additionally, the Center develops as well as advocates eco-friendly green production and consumption models to facilitate the efforts toward the UN SDGs.
  • Research and participate in the government's environmentally friendly agricultural policies, review and identify eco-friendly farming agricultural sites, and promote the production of agriculture, fishery, animal husbandry, and forestry to meet eco-friendly requirements and verification standards. In each region of Taitung County, the organization encourages individual farmers not use chemical fertilizers, pesticides or genetically modified organisms; instead, they advocated adopting eco-friendly farming as the first phase. Next, it helps farms receive certifications as organic agriculture areas and take further step to become recreational organic agricultural areas. The final phase is to make the entire Taitung County become a sustainable eco-village with a sustainable culture that aligns with the development of economic well-being.
  • One of the regions receiving counseling from the Center: Taitung "Shuimuding Creek Agricultural Cooperative" posts news report and films describing how the tribe has promoted its organic eco-villages that incorporates tribal culture, local natural landscape, agricultural methods and recreational eco-tourism, welcoming all visitors to experience its results.
