Research Center for Humanity Innovation and Social Practice
The Research Center for Humanity Innovation and Social Practice visited the Larepaq tribe in Taitung two years ago to design agriculture-themed courses for their elders and guide them to plan their ideal farmland. The Center sorted out the planting, harvest and gathering knowledge and produced the farming calendar for Paiwan people. Objectives:
Promote the reform of the university's organizational system, consolidate research teams within the university, and lead students to establish problem-oriented interdisciplinary thinking and abilities based on practical experience.
Characteristics:
In response to the school's plan of becoming an international-level green university, the school works with local citizens' groups to develop a new academic paradigm that incorporates both theoretical research and social practice aiming to improve local environmental sustainability and agricultural development.

Highlights:
he "Da-Zhu-Gao Creek basin" along South Link Highway area serves as the field for knowledge implementation, and the school plays the role of a bridge (tjekeza) between local entities (insider) and mainstream society and culture (outsider), co-creating a path (djalan) of industry development based on sustainability with local knowledge as the core value.。
