NTTU USR Implementation: Travel Deep into Local Aboriginal Villages; Jointly Create New Legion of Tribal Travelers

NTTU Innovation Incubation Center, formally established in 2011 under the guidance and assistance of the Small and Medium Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, began to cultivate emerging small and medium enterprises in Taitung. The Center combined with humanities, teachers, science & engineering, management, and other colleges, to closely cooperate with experts, scholars and industry, to meet the needs of manufacturers in terms of R&D for new technologies, new products, and business management.
In cooperation with the Innovation Incubation Center of National Tainan University, “Wave House • Indigenous Culture & Creative Issue Pine” Workshop was held from October 30 to October 31, 2021. It focused on the area of “Wave House TT-Style Original Pavilion,” an indigenous cultural and creative industry cluster, to discuss issues on marketing, sightseeing, customer groups and other aspects, and to search for innovative ideas.
Totally there were 30 students who participated in the event. Students must tackle challenge questions proposed in the Pavilion and offer innovative solutions within 24 hours. On the afternoon of the final day, the “Demo Show Achievement Presentation” was held in the “Mita’ay Innovation Club,” Shop No. 6, 1F Wave House. The team raised token funds from on-site members and the audience to acknowledge the feasibility of the proposed solution.
