Newly built solid waste recycling station at Zhiben campus. NTTU had spent 28,870 USD to build a modern solid waste recycling station, where organic, inorganic, food waste and general garbage are sorted and then disposed of. The new station opened since December 14, 2020.

Set up recycling sites campus-wide
Recycling bins for solid waste and food waste are installed at each building on all floors to be easily accessed for sorting by students and staff. Newly built solid waste recycling station.
In order to improve the convenience of sorting and recycling for the 2,100 students living in the first and second dormitories, the University's school administration has spent 28,870 USD to build a modern solid waste recycling station, where organic, inorganic, food waste and general garbage are sorted and then disposed of. The new station is located about 80 meters from the dormitories and have been opened since December 14, 2020. Students find it very convenient to separate and dispose of their garbage. -
Construct an office properties reuse online system
NTTU Properties Management Office constructed an online system to allow faculties and staff to announce their reusable items for reclaim. The item is then transferred accordingly for reuse. 574 and 283 items were transferred to other staff for reuse in 2019 and 2020 respectively. -
Damaged or expired office property items auctions for reuse
Damaged or expired office property items need to be handed into the Properties Management Office for reuse. The Properties Management Office holds auctions on reusable estate items for students, faculty and staff twice a year. Environmental Protection Leader in each class leads the way.
Each class has an environmental protection leader. Other recycling programs
Other recycling programs include: Reusable dining tools like steel chopsticks, spoon, plate, bowl are used at the dining halls and cafeteria in NTTUto comply with regulations. Use of recycled paper made copier paper, both sides of paper to be used are also implemented in offices.
